Tuesday, November 18, 2008 Y 9:09 PM WE LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT! THIMUN was funnnnnnnnnnn (: DAY ONE: After Registration  We went to Plaza Sing for lunch and watched Madagascar! Delegation: Madagascar @ rachyee's place playing pool rachwong & i were happy on the seesaw.. until waynechum decided to come and stand on it blearghhh!DAY TWO: OPENING Met Mike @ kap for breakfast (okay in a not-so-nice way it's something like dragging him out? heh!) and we had time to talk about a few things over ice milo then he saw my entry pass and he was like "OH SO YOURE MADAGASCAR? HAHAHAH!" before trying to guide me to HCI then brytan called to hurry me eh.  I met a really nice group of people (yes considering the fact that I was a whole hour late into lobbying and that rachwong eloped with my reso) and had a lot of names and faces to remember by the time it was opening ceremony. We are SOOPER efficient cos we sent our reso to the approval panel like, before lunch, so we spent lobbying time after that socialising and I schmoozed with a few fun people! We camwhored but not with my camera so (: OMG I just realised that I don't have any photo of rachwong & wayne & me although we're in ECOSOC tgt x.x MUST TAKE TMRW! I made a speech, it was supposed to have like a dramatic beginning, impactful ending, and content in the middle but I got cut-off halfway and so I only managed the start and end. Everybody told me they felt very convinced but I was wondering, what exactly were they convinced of since I didn't mention ANY content at all! Either way, Resolution 3-1 on Mercury Pollution: PASSED! :D I kindof slept through the others, abandoned rach and migrated to Wayne @ UNHCHR and met this Venezuelan-Japanese-Spanish-Chinese beauty (mental note: must take photo with her tmrw!) representing UNFPA, and two Taiwanese guys representing UK and we watched movies on MUTE on his laptop =D DAY FOUR: DEBATES + D&D  It was veryvery sian today and I fell asleep like 3 times but rach was very alert so =D Check out the above, cos apparently someone was extremely bored as well! "Your newest movie is so funny!" Haha yes, our movie. Now lets MOVE IT!  The D&D was at Orchidville, this ulu place with a huge dining area and dancing hall + stage and we had fabulous dinner and this was taken before the lights dimmed and people started jumping onto the stage and wagging their booties off. I & the overdressed/wronglydressedforpartying Winata + Grace Laura Parish & I! (Btw her chinese, is OWNAGE) I & Xueqiang! (I posted this cos both of us look pretty good innit!)  Then we got onto the dance floor while Olly pushed everybody to make space and we started partying with all the crazy people, there was this occasional circle where people like Akilan & Other Breakdance Pros did their crazy moves and handstands, headstands while people screamed. It was wild all right. It reminded me greatly of Crazy Signs @ Club Med, just a lot darker, ten times louder (the music) and fifty times more packed.  Oh yes this is with flash. Miki Kobayashi & I!
