hello, oh nine!

Keeping late nights are a bad habit. scowls at monitor

Hmmm lets see. I went back to school the second time this hols for debates training with Joshua. I remember feeling frustrated, hurried, frazzled in the morning because I could not find some linkages I needed. After which I had my first lunch at the sky garden in Vivocity with the el peeps, fairly pleasant and was thoroughly amused by an sms with horrigible spelling! Yijin weilin jeremiah joshua spent the rest of db8s playing bridge while I stoned and picked up a few things. I sincerely apologize to Yijin for folding paper flowers out of his stats sheet and eating all the important numbers! ):

I spent New Year's Eve sleeping in and went for a family lunch at Jack's Place. I only liked their seafood chowder soup! Actually I like seafood chowder soup everywhere, period. The fish and chicken were very average (for the price we were paying!!) and they replaced broccoli for sweet corn that I am very unhappy about because I like having greens on my plate. Yeah to all you veggie-haters, eat dust! I came home, slept some more and had Teochew cuisine for dinner, threw some stuff out and watched Maid In Manhattan after the new year craze was over.

I'm beat because I bulldozed through the twilight saga this week and no doubt I have complains, esp. her theory about vamp killing and the fact that I simply cannot comprehend why Edward Cullen has legions of fans. The age issue should turn one off already!

I like Alice the best and well I admire Charlie the most. Thrown unsuspecting into the heat (or rather, the cold) of the whole vamp wreck, he is unperturbed by Bella's hatred for Forks, submitting to her crazy demands, accepting her ancient boyfriend, sudden marriage and pregnancy; not asking ANY questions the whole time and being sane. I could not have done that.

Hmm while on the topic of self-control, here are

My new year resolutions:

1. To manage my finances and control my expenses.
A rough gauge of how much I've spent this holiday would be close to four hundred dollars. Funny how money disappears so quickly when I go out *rolls eyes* And I didn't even go on a shopping spree!

2. Exercise regularly, vigorously.
I've been feeling very unhealthy, and I must have been through about a gallon of coke, fries and what not, with all that fast-food. The occasional run does not seem to do any good.

3. Read more non-fiction.
I can't tell you how much I abhor non fiction and how quickly I'd embrace even the lousiest story when placed between both. SO PICK UP THEWORLDISFLAT AND FINISH IT CHARMAINE! It'll prolly be my last book because I'm going to face a lifetime ban from the library when school reopens :/
