Monday, April 13, 2009 Y 10:21 PM HELLO BLOG DEAD REDIRECT SELF THANKS Sunday, February 1, 2009 Y 10:01 PM TRAIN CASES FOR EVERYTHING! I am in love with train cases! I love the tissue box shape, the convenient handle, and the HUGE WHOLLY SPACE inside them :D I was so very prepared to purchase this tissue box in rasant and crystal, all USD 75 and hefty shipping charges, UNTIL I found out that juicy doesn't do international shipping >:( Then I decided to do more research and found this outlet that does international shipping anywhere any item for a flat rate of USD 10! But woe is me, the train case was not available there. Then I found this similarly gorgeous square train case in candy colours, forgot to add it to bag and went out to the park... But I refuse to relent and mobilized eight search windows for pritty train cases. Billabong women's had train cases but they're cake-shaped and the rest were far too professional. It's so difficult to look for train cases even online! Meh ): Then I discovered these on David&Goliath USA! Bright pretsy coloured train cases among other adorable notebooks and tees HOHO placed my order already (: I feel so accomplished! Labels: retail Saturday, January 31, 2009 Y 11:12 AM Why I would fail art 1. I procrasinate drawing (this was due on 14/01) 2. I can't draw a decent fairy 3. My most fairy-like fairies are those blue and pink things. 4. R says they look like butterflies with stunted human bodies (!) 5. There are no male fairies but I still draw them. 6. Can you even tell that the central thing is a female fairy? 7. The wings are placed too low on her body 8. THE HANDS SUCK I KNOW I KNOW ): 9. Her legs are sticking out at the wrong places 10. The rose she is holding looks like poop on a satay stick to the general unemotional population. DISMAL DISMAL I shall go and die now. Labels: Lesser Art Friday, January 30, 2009 Y 10:17 PM I could be a supermodel or Norman Mailer I feel optimistic, and happy even though my listed weekend homework spills out of the daily column in the organizer. Because hollyhoque released a super chio new collection; I didn't get caught for not doing my tutorials because i didn't have math lessons AT ALL THIS WEEK :D; I met Felicia Chin at cold storage with weilin & bravo annies who ran after her while I cowered at the fruit juices compartments; melted cheese binges with wooytie and my classmates at LJS; because laulau is back at school and I get to witness a certain bio teacher's extreme affection for my male classmate. What reason is there not to be happy? OH YES THERE IS: Interval training. I haven't been flushed like this for a whole year already and even when I run thinking that I'm going to trip and fall on my face and every step continually whacks at my pathetic lung capacity, I still make under 2 minutes on the clock but my bloody heart rate is ONLY 136 wtfwtf. I got my head pounding and muscle aches to look forward to and I still miss the 142 training rate?!?! Maybe my heart is like naturally calm or something. smiles smugly at everyone with palpitating hearts and sweaty palms Labels: Chitter Saturday, January 24, 2009 Y 7:19 PM morbid curiosities I can feel one of those metal brackets on my upper right molar going loose, but I LIKE GUAVAS SO VERY MUCHLY! and weikai is already on his retainers! Slept at 2AM the past two days primarily because I was headed for the flower patch everyday after school, pushed pebbles into the soil, wrote in the back of the organizer (now you know where to raid) for as long as the sun took to set, for reasons that elude myself, maybe for somebody or some things. Then headed home via the back way, put dinner into my tum, walked around the house with the phone to my ear and only started writing my CWE at 11PM. Which turned out to be a horrible piece of work because I ended it "abruptly", as tuyan comments, in an effort to go to sleep early. Early being 2.15AM, after going on MSN and finding nobody but a few owls. Dickson Stopped writing cos I had to go out to dinner. Had pepper lunch for the first time with squaddies at taka after cny celebrations yesterday and unleashed my inner noob onto yueting's food by cooking it for her and leaving the middles of the chicken raw. Yeah, thats me, the next martha stewart. Then I dragged the poor things to go shopping for a wallet with me and saw some pretty ones at rafflescity that i might go back to get. Met laulau at the library today and looked through her photos of the HC Science camp thingy on her new phone. So prettay! I also want a new phone gee (: But I can't seem to find any pretty ones by nokia and SE so I might be veering toward LG gags at memory of first phone. Life in a half mess now, rapidly growing backlog of work and still CNY to go, people to keep in touch with, with things like enunciation and speed of thought to improve on, and thank goodness, jokes to laugh at (: Holiday friends retreat back into the photo albums they came from the december sun could only hold so much in its embrace, and has shied away behind looming school buildings and its charges. Sand pulled like a rug from under your feet then returned to the shore, and children, not unlike us, frolicking in the sea mouths engulfed by slow, large, foamy waves bringing the salt that gatecrashed your words, framed the corners of your smile; but the aftertaste left _______________your tastebuds; expectations; perspectives never the same. We all want to get kissed in the rain, lie in the grass and catch planes with our fingertips _______onto ___jump____lilypads and walk to the end of a rainbow time and again only to find the pot of gold is on the other side and the rainbow, vanished. Sunday, January 18, 2009 Y 5:04 PM I think, therefore I am Hi you people who read but never comment (unless someone is playing with the counter), I fell asleep in bio lab last week, woke late and missed the anniversary celebrations altogether, called my history teacher the wrong name and I've only been to two days of formal school this week. Not to mention the stack of notes that I am told that I have to lug around everyday, and I am not very excited about lab because i suck at drawing every kind of table other than the real one. sighs loudly why did I not take humanities? All this note-reading and hour forty lab sessions better land me somewhere earning big bucks tsk. I'm sorry you guys (sqdmates and leong who organised the movie outing) cos I left my phone home and went to my aunt's house to eat like every kind of cny cookie that left me feeling a whole lot better, never mind that I'm prolly flabby all over already :) Monday, January 12, 2009 Y 10:26 PM 高级华文! I would like to thank: Hester Geraldine Eileen Jun Yi Jhosy Winata Lydia Rachael Kaylene Tu Yan Dong Qi Tie Hong, especially ANGHUISHAN & MS. LOO ; everybody who helped or attempted to help with my I HAVE PASSED MY O LEVELS HCL WITH SUPER HAPPY YELLOW BANANA COLOURS! In the omg-now-i-really-have-to-jump-over-the-moon way. Be it offering your chinese spelling answers within my eyespan, patiently explaining to me the meaning of the commonest four word phrase ever, reading out the compre questions to me, constantly telling me what every blardy term in zonghetiankong meant (tiehong!) or just forwarding your completed duhougan to me, my chinese intellect has apparently grown under all ye gracious tutelage and I haven't forgotten (: ANGHUISHAN Thanks for trying to and successfully communicating to me in chinese, you have been a great help I never expected to have, and reading the shaonianwenzhai magazine so enthusiastically (haha now everybody knows!) so that I have the motivation to look at the captions below the pictures for every issue. Thanks a mil for giving me the-chinese-mood before the papers cos the relief teacher couldn't do shit to help me :D MS. LOO Everybody says you've been slacky and you probably burnt all our zuowens that you never returned to us but I think you are fantastic. Thanks for simply looking at my essays from another perspective and letting me know my chinese was not a lost cause (: You have no idea how much it helped compared to the feedback i had from my other chinese teachers narrows eyes. I am glad I went for the last year of chinese remedials (yes darlings i've been on the list for chinese remedial since the first week of sec 1, i think i've got the gold membership already) cos I learnt so much more there than during class. Well people, this has marked the end of my academic chinese life and no, I am not making forays into this area of study any time soon. So Charmaine and her A walked happily into the sunset. 完 Labels: Exam Chronicles Thursday, January 8, 2009 Y 10:20 PM 2am - 11am I think I did it. I found the dress that will "take me through a date, a work meeting, a girls' night out and a tea session with the Queen of England" :D It's imported from London because my mom thinks Londoners dress very sophisticatedly and sensibly. It's black with a pleated bottom and two cute faux straps at the waist with big white cloth buttons. And it matches the beautiful necklace laulau gifted me! The only thing I dont quite like about it is that it's sleeveless. Otherwise it would be perfect. (: Anyways I went to Raffles Town Club: The Dunearn Ballroom sometime back for my gorgeous model cousin's wedding and I loved the place + service! They had cute guys handing out drinks and serving the food ehhe. Nat and I took pictures with the Edward Room and Victoria Room HAHAH. We attended the cocktail reception, but before that my sisters followed the wedding entourage around for the photo shoot and two huge lunch buffets while I was earning moolah -.- Chelsea is the flower girl for this wedding, along with another cute little boy in a tux and they got to throw rose petals! Their whole wedding theme was amazing. The organizers did up a wedding poster that resembled the "Coming Soon" billboards in theatres right outside the door, which was really impressive. Typical nine-course dinner and souvenirs aside, I loved every single one of her gowns and I would like one with a corset! The toilet at the Club is so grand, the sinks area is bigger than the size of my bedroom with marble tiling, huge ceiling-to-floor mirrors and gold autotaps with autosoap. Good for camwhoring i say ;) Squad chalet was like well, all the squad chalets in previous years. Just a whole lot cosier and uh picked up loads of card games this time round thanks to leong who kept jumping in clarine's face to ask her to play bridge. Tried my hand at barbequeing chicken wings and lets just say they didn't turn out very nice so I decided to stick to buttering everything and leave the food cooking to the pro people (: We all watched the finale of The Little Nonya together! Horrible ending though. Squaddies still have the bad habit of renting horror movies so I sat through The Strangers with a pillow and zimin's chinese doggy book. I felt the plot was very absurd and outlandish but being the gutless person that I am I was still freaked out. Weikai Edward beside me let out a huge shaky gasp when he thought the masked men were going to appear and I totally screamed. Glad next door didnt kick us out! K I still owe brytan 6 reflection essays sigh. |
