(Blame the paste! says Rachael) When you breathe slow, you move slower and everything else seems so much more fast-paced. Faces magnified, sounds amplified, tires you out a lot quicker. It's like looking at this continuously moving, blown-up protrait and having to respond to most parts of it. I would have liked to spend my sick leave sitting in bed in pyjamas and woolly socks the whole damn day reading a legal thriller but no. Yesterday was used for cramming physics definitions, giving up halfway and reading the BP issue on Education for a double test today. Did I mention that I have to redo that physics past year EOY because the whole stack went missing from LLM's pigeonhole? If I find that rat who took it he's going to get it from all of us grrrrrr. world's your oyster but the pearls ain't free Labels: Wails Sunday, September 14, 2008 Y 8:01 PM married the jostle yesterday Zonked out from mooncake festival potluck yesterday, several spicy prawns and about 1 L of grass jelly. Killer food. Met a lot of new expats, one British teen who flung himself in the pool voluntarily during games (like o.o) and a tiny-eyed Korean girl & her papa. Then we played Cheat in Willyn's house with Leon Chengkan & Gilford till very late. Ooh I had a slice of this pink skinned mooncake with a hard chocolate core and strawberry icecream! Unusual :D I put down 2 eights and got busted by Gilford who went mwahahaha. Gilford proceeded to put down four eights and he got busted by Leon, cos Leon had all four of them -.- Then we all laughed at him. The games took really long because they were glued to the Barclays Premier on telly. Tomorrow we get the lengendary LLM for physics lessons because Suria got called away on National Service again. And I havent done the EOY paper yet D: I saw this somewhere: IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES A LITTLE LONGER Kewl stuff! Labels: Off Days Friday, September 12, 2008 Y 10:33 PM five faces, seven things The general office called me (while i was in school yesterday) so my phone rang like shizzzzz and I happily thought it was someone else until Tie Hong pointed out that the ringtone seemed to be coming from my bag -.- Never mind that, debates cracked me up properly today. Funny thing is, I cannot seem to remember what exactly I was laughing over. But I can remember the tears in my eyes, the happy beads I haven't had from school in a while. Tears from laughter always taste sweet, for some reason I suppose you can fathom. After building another condominum on the hill, they've opened up a nice large grassy patch in our backyard stretching all the way to the other hill, up, up and away on a long white staircase all little girls want to walk down, not unlike the wedding aisle. These changes happen suddenly, like an appearance overnight, the displacement of the main staircase from a flowery, non-existant palace. I like the road up best when the skies have just done raining, the gravel is wet and scrunchy, the light spills in uneven proportions across the land and its ten floor towers. The dark, evening, surroundings have this strange inexplicable warmth from the fresh wetness, the grass on its own bending upwards and the power houses, dripping, dripping. Labels: the foreign Sunday, September 7, 2008 Y 12:04 AM MORE FOOD Another food event that um, survived the rain. We moved into the ballroom after that so it was okay. My parents suggested that I join the waiting (waiters) service for part time work. I told them they'd have to pay THEM for the dishes I break. Then they took that suggestion back. This makes another entry into our extensive family food log. No pictures of food because I couldn't really see what I was eating properly. We had one romantic, tiny candle at a table of eight under a large tree that was shedding its leaves, so... I wonder what I ate hmmm.
Labels: Food Friday, September 5, 2008 Y 11:42 PM one of those days I watched Camp Rock today heehee. It had an extremely predictable storyline but gave me a very healthy dose of cheese and tweenyboppyness (: I think Demi Lovato's a good fresh change to the whole HSM-pwned channel and I actually liked her clothes! I have no idea why she got dissed because of that -.- Okay I shall cut down on the spoilers :D I attended the chemistry lecture today which was great for ego inflation because everything was about C-H (note: my initials) so I left that in a floaty mood that unfortunately did not encompass homework-doing ): I shall try that properly during the weekend then. I've had oreos and milk so I'm going to bed! Theme song stuck in my head as usual. this is real, this is me this is exactly where im supposed to be, now gonna let the light - shine on me [edit] my sms count restarts in 3 minutes woohoo :D [/edit] |
