Well it's been long. Really long, in fact.

(if you read the prev. post), this is my 3RD-day-to-sit-at-home, and only because I'm down with a really bad sore throat it was actually food poisoning from the steamboat gasp i had all kinds of different coloured stools and so im missing another day of attachment at MYMCA ;_;

Anyway I sort of left my com tucked somewhere under my pile of reading material (which i'm proud to say i'm done with half of!) for this.. 3/4 month? And only realised when Kay & Angel asked me "have you seen _____'s facebook profile??" yesterday at the steamboat outing. Well RAH no I haven't been on fb and msn in eons!

That reminds me, I had loads of fun at YV camp, made a new bunch of friends, and um spent a huge amount of time with Winata, including waking up beside her every morning and sharing the same bathing cubicle to the horror of.. everyone else :D I had this guy TF named Shawn as my mortal in the angelandmortal game and for DAYS my peg was empty and miserable but his gift was so cute! There was this huge box of tiny panda biscuits that I couldn't resist opening and shared it with my buddy group =D Oh, had Edmund for my TF so you can imagine how full-of-shit my camp days were, and eh the gross rotten banana + mudslides + waterbombing + jianqin's split pants + spartanshizz at station games! Can you believe our TFs made olivia, me and leong mutes during the disability challenge? They must think we talk too much :( That was three hours of torture!

The Sunway Hotel was marvellous. 5 minute walk to Pyramid Shopping Mall with all the retail goodness and Christmas trees EVERYWHERE! I took photos with green, white, auburn ones and this CLASSY BLACK tree :D But the sony tseries handbook is unexpectedly un-user-friendly so >:( no pics!

Oh and my room view was the entire theme park ^^ Spent one day shopping, we were hoping to get loads of cheap stuff but looks like they revamped the place since 10 years ago, so we got stuff from all the expensive places. Took photo with Santa and went on a earring spree (bought really pretty dangly ones that I'm prolly never going to wear) because they were on sale: 4 pairs for RM10!

The next day spent at the theme park turned out to be an exhilarating experience? My sister dragged me onto the worst rides at the amusement park. I have NO IDEA why they call it an AMUSEMENT park it should be fricking called DANGEROUS FOR PEOPLE WITH NO GUTS. Like me. I suppose it should ring an ALARM bell when the ride's called Pirate's Revenge? Wtheck the woman at the gate told me, no, not scary la, they go very slow one. What bull i tell you. I regretted it the very moment I sat in that brown seat, tucked my head in and screamed for my life when the thing went 180 degrees, then the full turn on me. The worst thing is they hold you there for 10 seconds at that 180 degrees position, "to let you see the world in another way", well, no i decided I do not like looking at things upside down, much less facing a plump, happy and screaming Filipino woman. Couldn't see straight when i got down x.x Went for the water park after that, de jevu at the man-made beach with the currents, awesome fun at the water playground, horrible water slides that I had to go on with my sister the daredevil -.-

Hmm yeah and right the next day I was back for attachment, went for this xmas celebration at Trinity Paya Lebar and interacted with many elderly people, including this granny who told me like, everything there was to know about her ever since the minute I sat down. I might have missed a few lines here and there but yeah fun experience! Can't get over the fact that Amos thinks my winter tree stencils look like ph-ll-s-ses, but snow-painted onto the doors of MYMCA nonetheless (:

Mmm yeah Survivor Gabon is on now so bye yall!

PEEKCHURES!

HIHI!

Had a blast @ Club Med, especially with the Junior Club and Loges (our G.O.)!

We had waterpolo games, water fights and gossip sessions in the pool, kayaked and swam in the sea, played volleyball & truth/dare on the beach, billard at the table in one of the four bars, drank countless honeymoons at the Santai Bar, did archery and had sooper violent basketball games at the sports center, went through a screamy circus training session at the trapeze, won medals, had many meals together at the long high table in the Waterfall Restaurant, pranked the staff at the boutique, had taupok sessions and PARTIED tgt EVERYNIGHT after the show at Crazy Signs!

I miss the partying the mostest! Xishuashuaxishuashua (:

Where happiness means the world

So. I'm going overseas in like, 1.5 days and I have no idea what to pack except "sunblock, sunblock and a lot of tank tops" as quoted from the Club Med Bintan Island review. From what I read I could very well be justified in saying that I'm going to live in paradise for a week and I must leave my phone and tech gadgets and the tv *sniff* at home so I can detach myself from the world properly.

Wonderful idea don't you think. The bad thing is, unlike all the other holiday-sightsee-shop-your-ass-off places I've been too this one is most probably not going to have shops selling underwear. I ALWAYS end up buying underwear overseas (I've got at least a pair for every place I've been to, don't you dare tell me it's a nice souvenir or i'll buy some for you next time) cos I don't bring enough. Oh and I'm super excited about their bathroom goodies from CRABTREE AND EVELYN!!

I've got this really low threshold for scents (even if they smell good) and while I'm on that, do you know that some of those terrible developers decided to dig up the pavements at the bottom of my hill again, and fill the ditches with foul smelling fertilizers?! I am really quite piffed because:

1. The palm trees DO NOT look like they are dying
2. I smelt enough ammonia in the lab this year and I am NOT going to subject myself to such lung torture everytime I have to walk out
3. They are not replacing the grass that they cut off so there's nothing to absorb the ammonia and it just stinks up the whole hill
4. I am unaware of the project end-date

Horrible planning. Idk why all of them can't plan together and dig it up once, put in all the stuff they want to and leave us alone -.- And grow back the grass.

Now I have to go and find packing guidelines online, bye!

End of school

This last day didn't feel like a last day at all.

My form acted like he was going to see us next week, everybody was all oh yeah bye! and I brought home a certain XM's english paper by mistake. I sort of, i mean, very much fell in love with the JC lit texts and I think life sucks only because I can't do Bio Chem Math Hist AND Lit together because my school doesn't allow it (my friends know).

I like bio hist & lit ALOT but math & chem are painful, and guess what? EVERYBODY takes math & chem. Proven: Life can suck.

Oh but then life's great because my daddy bought me a new iPOD:

Classic (white)! Because I refuse to watch videos on the puny screen of the chromatic (no matter how enlarged it was from the prev. gen) I shall watch all my Beverly Hills 90120 vids there! And it fits 30 gig, so take that, chromatic! I have plans to scour the Borders @ parkway for skins to dress my new toy muahahahha.

Went to Jack's Place with huishan lydia rachael had great soup, great ice cream (salty x.x) and not so great fish and CAMWHORED! Not going to upload because I want to watch telly full-time tonight, any shitty show will do fine :D

Went shoe-shopping with laulau @ lot 1 and bought my first pair of flats, riea was like how can you have five heels (they were all bad choices btw) and NO flats?! Well yeah, I can. And laulau found out that her feet fits most of the shoes on display in mondo perfectly so she had a hell of a time trying on ridiculous things and I had a hell of a time picking them out for her to try on x)

AND I have to go back to school tmrw to CLAIM my report card cos wong refused to let me bring it home cos I didn't hand in the 46 dollars miscellaneous fees. They should do a GIRO system or smth I'm like the only person who doesn't have her report card grrr -.-

I've got this super screwed holiday schedule because I have no idea when I am going overseas (yeah so my travel declaration isn't entirely accurate), which means I haven't packed and I have a lot of things clashing tgt on the same day argh.

WHEEEE

I ran my first 5K ever today with Zhiying without any stopping at all and it was superb, partially because it wasn't very warm at all and the energy level of everyone there (all femme) was real high. There was this adidas photographer who took this professional shot for us and printed it as a namecard sized keepsake AND it was complimentary! Lovely (:

Had oysters, expensive apple juice and carrefour shopping for rather obscene amounts of sushi with Beaver, Chlorine (who ran the GE 10K!) and Leong (whom i saw at the starting line lol) and we convinced Anty to come out and watch HSM 3 with us.

Well DONT CATCH IT unless you like awkward scene changes/Vanessa's new bouncy curls/rather un-catchy tunes/extremely clinche and predictable scenes, ugh "flop" as Leong calls it. Despite my determined picture of skepticism, -warning spoiler ahead-

Troy Bolton: My prom is wherever you are.

I MELTED. Like right then and there in my seat between Leong & Chlorine awwww omg so sweet! replays scene in head and melts again Oh and they made use of a lot more CG animation so yeah those parts were pretty good. One thing that kept going through my head was that Efron was the cause of Hudgens' nude photo circulating on the net, and now she has to act all lovey dovey with him on-screen?! I know acting is acting but I probably wouldn't be able to put that aside myself.

And yes darlings that thick pile of receipts up there used to be about sixty fresh crisp $$$$ notes before friday. Oh my moolah ):

These are the two potential emokias sitting outside a shoe shop while Chlorine & I were enthusiastically browsing through Zara, Miss Selfridge & Topshop x)

To leong for these more than pleasant gifts:

Hot pink NON-IN-EAR earbuds, a nice long birthday message AND the album of my new favourite band (and we are still warring over the best part of the man who can't be moved) : THE SCRIPT!!! Hello, I've died and gone to heaven AHHH~

To hester for giving me something very initimate which shall be kept in a box hehe:

No, it's not lingerie HAHA

To eileen for coming down with shermian in the morning to give me these gorgeous cakes:

So pretty!

To edmund (who made a poor attempt at trying to sign me up for chicky kids club for my birthday -.- but let me borrow the world is flat first so thanks!), leon, jonathan, calvin tay, lim junjie, dongqi, tiehong, jinjing, shihui, sarah, xiumin, sirui (who gave me a big hug!) for their birthday wishes!

To ALL MY FUNKY GIRLFRIENDS (huishan lydia winata kay rach) for being absolutely retarded in trying to distract me from the cake while they were lighting the candle it's SO HILARIOUS you wont believe it:

lydia: why is the box so small, can put meh
huishan: babble babble
me: what about?
huishan: gives lydia a look
lydia: AYEEE TODAY GOT WHITE CARROT SOUP HAR! what's white carrot? stands up on tiptoe to block my view
huishan: neh, bai luo bo la
winata: fights her way in and exclaims to me Rach's hair is so nice today! I LOOOOOVE the waves, you know, like, you know, the huge waves, SO PRETTY!
rach: suddenly appears and I tried to turn her around to see her amaaaazing hair when-

kaylene and everyone else bursts into song!

Adorable cake!

Thank you all for remembering that I liked the cards from Bloomingdale's! =DDD it's being hung on my wall with blu-tack <3

Then they decided to prank me by telling me that watermelons grow on trees when I insisted that they grew on the ground and kaylene was all "you know, at the nature park they have this sign: beware of falling watermelons" I was like NO those are durians and they all didnt believe me and huishan was laughing like mad =.= shan't mention my literal embarrassment in front of everybody hah!

I am so terribly gullible x.x

Anyways we had a pizza treat from mdm. ong after school for racial harmony day efforts yeaaaaah (: then we went for debates, equally hilarious examples of (wrong) statistical application

out of all the divorced couples in singapore, 50% are women.

GEDDIT? i laughed so hard i snorted and weilin started laughing together with me xD
then you have winata's illegally blonde moments:
weilin: zhengzhang stop speaking like a chicken
winata: takes up weilin's pencilcase cover with presumably a chicken on it and places it in front of zhengzhang's face and goes PHARRRKPHAARRKPHHHARRRK
somebody: isn't that a duck?
winata: OMG it's a duck ?!?!?
everybody dies laughing. END.

& KUDOS TO RVNP FOR CLINCHING 1ST POSITION @ TODAY'S SPORT HEATS! So proud of all you running people heheh (:

My mom made curry and loaaaads of finger food for my birthday and I found these pigs already eating when I got home.

YES wonderful thankyou thankyou thankyou all I shall try very hard to remember all your birthdays next year!! =D

Kidnapped by the weather

I was driven in a metal trolley by the ever so handsome Anty this morning in Giant, Vivocity to gather a load of junk food to bring to Sentosa. And experienced my first tram ride into Siloso Beach (because we always drive in) together with the other arrived squaddies on which Wooytie and I fought over the colour of the sea LMAO and we came to a compromise that it was blue-green.

We found a nice coconut tree to put our stuff under and immediately started on the sandwiches that Sharman and Liting brought and then we found the guys burying Peekuai alive in sand! Then everyone joined in and he probably swallowed a lot of sand because they were all very aggressive while I was taking pictures HOHO.

Aye then they all ran into the seawater when Peekuai decided to stage his one-man uprise and I couldn't go in because I didn't bring an extra set of clothing (for which I was sarcastically ticked off by an exhausted I-ran-15-effing-kilometers Leong)!!! and Wooytie and I resorted to looking at hot babes play volleyball while the squaddies had fun on the court.

It rained a heavy-thunderstormy-the-sky-is-falling kind of rain after that and we were all quite drenched and hiding in the beach shop that sells bath towels at exorbitant prices I swear ($23 for a printed towel!) We found some white tents so we settled there and played Liting's set of UNO which has this damned card that allows the holder to swop his cards with anyone else and EVERYTIME i got sooooo close to UNO game, mingjie/wenjie/weikai decided to swop cards with me =.=

Nevermind that, then we watched Wooytie and Leong (Liting at first, who gave up aft that) try to fly a Minnie Mouse kite in the slight rain and it was hilarious! By that time, I was half wet, covered in salt and sand for the most part and eating Chickadees with Beaver & Loo (they sound like a company name! Like Beaver & Loo PTE LTD xD) so I left with Min Ee & a few others to wash up and leave for Ben & Jerry's. Min Ee & I shared this blissful sinful caffeine filled large Belgian Chocolate drink from the Coffee Bean and the cashier spelt my name on the receipt as "CHAMIN" zzz and we ended up having bolognese at Pastamania because the ice cream shop was darned crowded for a rainy day, at this.

I walked past this group of little boys walking behind their mommies on the way up the hill and this 5 year old kid asked the boy beside him: What car does your daddy drive? He cocked his head to the side a little bit and replied: A mazda.

Oh a Mazda? Mazdas are slow, the kid answered and the boy looked very rattled.

Five year old boys comparing real cars? That says something about car commercials nowadays.

If you drive a real car/suffer from ERP gantry overdoes/are a History student/are just bored, YOU ARE GOING TO LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF AT THIS. Watch it with volume for full effect (:

married the jostle yesterday

Zonked out from mooncake festival potluck yesterday, several spicy prawns and about 1 L of grass jelly. Killer food. Met a lot of new expats, one British teen who flung himself in the pool voluntarily during games (like o.o) and a tiny-eyed Korean girl & her papa. Then we played Cheat in Willyn's house with Leon Chengkan & Gilford till very late.

Ooh I had a slice of this pink skinned mooncake with a hard chocolate core and strawberry icecream! Unusual :D

I put down 2 eights and got busted by Gilford who went mwahahaha. Gilford proceeded to put down four eights and he got busted by Leon, cos Leon had all four of them -.- Then we all laughed at him. The games took really long because they were glued to the Barclays Premier on telly.

Tomorrow we get the lengendary LLM for physics lessons because Suria got called away on National Service again. And I havent done the EOY paper yet D:

I saw this somewhere: IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES A LITTLE LONGER
Kewl stuff!

my mommy's green dress

Nobody takes away my Sunday mornings. Sunday mornings are for sleeping in and religious classes!

Umph another day spent on my feet. I bought six fat red roses, the auntie gave me nice fat blooming ones :D For huishan zihao lydia louisa & jinjing. I went out with Mr. Self-Proclaimed Bored to watch WALL-E @ Cineleisure Orchard! The animation was FAB (partially because we caught the digital version) and the characters were all sooooooo adorable! As usual Mr. Bored ate his jumbo hotdog and claimed the movie was quite sian. The thing is we walked through the entrance to the movie halls without having our ticket stubs taken, meaning we could simply have watched the show for free. Tsk tsk so both of us have the full portion of our tickets to keep for the first time ever!

The WALL-E movie has every scene hand-drawn and layered six times to create the marvellous effect that I usually take for granted. His eyes has every single damned expression you can never create from a pair of old binoculars, and I love his container home with all the tinkydinkys he collects! I didnt quite like Eva though, I didn't figure she was female until Wall-E fell for her. It's very worth watching for the technical aspect but the plot's climax didn't get to a large audience, unfortunately. It sends a pretty serious message about how we are all killing the Earth and we could end up like bulging pugdy bigoted humans zipping around on automated chairs in the Axiom. One good, practical and forward looking movie from Pixar :D

Mr. Bored and I walked to Taka where the sole of my flats came off and i threw them away and by the time I reached Tanjong Pagar the shoe had a large silt that evidently showed that it was going to fall apart anytime. Being the resourceful person that I am I bought a large box of plasters (the woman at Cheers must have thought I was mad) and attempted to stick the shoe together. Hansaplast does not work on anything other than human skin -.- Then Winata came and saved my ass by paying for a new pair of wedges from a random stall for me! We bought it fully on impulse. Like grab-try on-suitable-buy! It was a five-minute business and I had spent 40 bucks but I was saaaaaaved. Thank you Winata in the low-cut green cleavage showing dress! =D

This is becoming a very long entry o.o

The CO concert was in essence very interesting! I have avoided dull classical performances at best these few years but the pieces that they played tonight were lively! Except for a glitch in the second piece everything else was great and the pudgy conductor had hilarious moves. I loved the encore piece by Richard Clayderman (Rhythm of the Rain) because I've never heard it played by an orchestra before and Richard Clayderman's pieces are AWESOME. I can totally appreciate that kind of classical!

We met the CO people after their performance and saw zihao in his pretty pink colored lipstick, congratulated them with the fat roses and the rest packed up and went to eat.

The new shoes are surprisingly comfortable, I'm terribly glad they are worth the price (: The bed is calling me, bye y'all!

I <3 6AA'04!

Snooze count this morning: 8

But I got to school on time! Today was lovely. We had large cakes, about a ton of chips, fruit and a lot of green tea for the classparty thing and we did this hilarious game of musical chairs! :D

Then Kaylene, Angel & I went back to KPS and thronged with all the other lians and bengs at the front gates to enter the school. Maybe they have a school policy for locking their ex-students out :O We met up with the HC + NY + ACSI + VS + FMSS people and celebrated ms.kho's belated birthday with a mango fruit cake and took pictures! All the guys that came back shot waaaaay up, and Ivan is Person Who Changed The Most this year! Head count was something close to 20, although declining but still pretty good (:

We went to have lunch, have some big gossiping session and play bball at an estate near the school where we were talking and Ying Ci voiced that the SAP sch people had a drop in language abilities. Then I realised that after four years in RV I have picked up this undesirable skill of inserting chinese words into my english sentences and vice versa! Mental note: Make a conscious effort to speak properly.

The bball session was partly a PT session for us girls because the ball went in sequence from somebody in my team to the Fat Boy - Yangjim/Dexter (who throws the ball all the way across the court) - Lands in Abdul's embrace - Then he shoots -.- So much so that at one point YingCi and Yinkuan gave up and started giving commentary for the match! The only time when I got hold of the ball was when Jeffrey's amazing dribbling skills led the ball to go btwn his legs and land at my feet HAHAHAHA. Then I was laughing so hard Ivan had to come and get the ball from me. We didnt have enough people on the teams so a few strangers joined us and everybody started calling everybody else by their shirts. Dickson was Cottage, Jiehan was Hwachong, Adidas Boy was Adidas Boy and Andie was Waterpolo HAHAHHA. Kaylene and I were in charge of giving each other hi-fives when our team scored a goal lol.

That paragraph is short of many other cheek-cramping moments though (: It is rare that we all still go back to visit after four whole years, most probably thanks to ms.kho's arranged commuter lunches ha!

Mmmm it's late and I should go to bed because I have to go get fresh roses tmrw for the RVCO concert at night. The SCH looks like a really plush place! :D

Haha it reads: R-M-U-N

FUN FACTS

1. Mr. Bryan Tan takes an average of 3 shots per group photo, and he always takes a few pictures away from our direction while we are stuck in a pose.

2. The Samsen students love DBSK & Super Junior lol

3. Some people actually bargained for toilet fees! (3 people for 2 baht)

4. I made prankcalls in the hotel and 75% failed because Geri & ChihYun were laughing away xD

5. We played Catching with the Thai girls in our full school uniform (aka in a skirt)

6. People like Daniel and Zeming like to walk into people's photographs

7. The boys forced 3 transvestites to take a photo with them at the mall :O

8. They serve non-spicy Tom Yam soup in Thailand!

9. I spoke to a brown bug to convince it to stay under the basin while I bathed

10. I learnt to play my first poker card games, Bridge and Tytee on this trip (thanks to Zeming)

11. Chern Yi brings his entire luggage into the toilet with him when he bathes! Hahahaha!

12. The gathering in room 601 drank 5.6% alcohol in something on the last day (including Geri) and there were several red faces in the room.

13. We played cards and watched MTV till midnight and woke at 5AM everyday!

14. Yu Hui cut himself while shaving and walked around with a plaster on his chin for the rest of the day.

15. We ran half the time while shopping :D

16. Pooping/Dietary fibre became a hot topic with rooms 611 & 612.

17. The thai women/girls are mostly very pretty (including the transvestites!)

18. I was literally condemned by everybody when I lost my phone.. and found it in my pocket T.T

That, and many more later (: Yay I found Horton Hears a Who! online, off to watch the ending :D

CHARMAINE IS IN THAILAND.

& will not have access to the web, nor the Thai King, unfortunately. I'll be on a school trip for six days and - my laptop battery is running flat - you can all pray hard for me that I am allowed a non-chilli choice of meals, like how the vegetarians are allowed their vegan meals. I heard about the Thai weather which is as hot as their chillipadi, an FRIGGING average 34 degrees celsius. The choices stand, either melt or contract skin cancer.

This is crazy. I'm going to arm myself with my heavyweight boxing camera, yeah yeah not the recent wimpy ultraslim ones (i'm only criticizing because I don't have one? xD) and snap everything Thai (: I'm excited about the palaces and the cheap shopping mwahaha!

So long!

Wasabi Attack!

Fourth Day into the March Hols and I haven't really done any work, except sit on the couch and -

STOP EATING THAT SEAWEED/(fill in the blank) CHARMAINE! YOU'LL GROW FAT!

-I can't stop eating to save my life. When my sister went to Melaka on a supposed study trip, all she brought back was humongous packs of wasabi-flavored seaweed (what was on her mind??) and a few plushies. So I'm actually pretty hydrated despite all that junk food because I have to down something like, 3 cups of water after 10 pieces of the spicy thing.

I've been telling myself, in a really serious tone that I have to be work-oriented and complete all my work by this holiday, but I'm already having trouble trying to locate my homework. Like, I can't remember which folder I put my SBQs in. OCD means to be very very organised but somehow I just cannot get organised enough.

The past few days have been some kind of torrential downpour and my mother insisted we should get some fresh air and walk to lunch. Brilliant ideas that mothers have sometimes, no? Barely halfway on the way back when we were all fat and drowsy, the rain started pelting like dinner plates and blew a hole in my umbrella. When I reached home and wringed my t-shirt i think it put a glass of water to shame heh.

This seaweed packet says: Oil-Free. How do you fry anything without oil anyway! As Riea was telling me, "If all else fails I shall be a cook, and I will have to have hired help to handle the knives and all that fire. NO WAY am I going anyway near those fires!"

"Right. So you can be the first microwave oven cook. o.0"

"How much do you think I'll earn?"

Sometimes she can be such a dunce =D

Fail-tality

I think I'm going to fail my math test.

Note: No exclamation marks, no question marks - MARKS! I NEED 17 out of 25 MARKS! - just this funny looking detachedness.

I was careless, unprepared, blurred-eyed (all thanks to the stupid chilli sauce in the hokkien mee) and argh. I usually do better off in tests where I hold my breath throughout (not literally). This time I took about 3 breaths. Not good.

I managed to hold my tear ducts until I ran upstairs and confronted Hester and CRIED. I am so very disappointed with myself ): And then I became totally detached from the world.

I went to a local bookstore to get my physics practice papers and found this whole display table of tons and tons of revision guides and assessment papers and TYS. The last time I checked, they sold next to nothing of pointless Geography assignments, puny math books and chinese idiom books the thickness of your thumb. No, not your thumb vertically. Your thumb HORIZONTALLY.

Then Eileen approached me while I was still dipping my toe into the fascinating realm of revision guides to everything-and-anything the GCE O levels test (the rest of my body was still continuing its sink into the dark abyss of math doom) and jabbed a finger at the Longman Additional Mathematics guide I had open.

She asked "What are you doing with this?" And I took about two seconds to look up and say "Hi!" in a happy falsetto before registering her question - wrongly - and asking her "So what are you doing here?" She replied that she came to get a green pen and I must have looked a bit startled, because she returned me a look and rephrased her initial question. I mean, why, when you are about to FAAAAAIL your math test, care about trivial things like buying a green pen? TRIVIAL! This time I attempted to answer her question using a long and loud "oooooooh" before saying "I came here to get my TYS, cos Suria wants us to get it mmm" and proceeded to turn back to the book.

Eileen jabbed her finger at it again, and said rather irritatedly "no, I mean why do you need this? You have math tuition!" Oh great. Now you have to ring another math doom bell. So I said in a very detached and flat tone "Yeah.. isn't Longman good? Yeah yeah Longman is good. So I just look at it loh."

I think she decided that my brain was twisted into a badly shaped lump of grapefruit and quickly bade goodbye.

I moved off to the cashier queue, and hugged the books. Yingying passed by in a brisk walk, I didn't notice her until she was halfway past me and she had an expression on her face that looked like a smile. So I smiled back. I say it looked like a smile because it could have a been a poor attempt at trying to hold back her spit at me, a painful cringe or maybe she was just smiling. Anyhow, I didn't have enough spare brain cells to make this decision.

Maybe people have this affinity with people, like people on the streets. I was at the foot of the hill when this tall Indian man carrying a Crumpler laptop bag (no, I'm still alive enough to notice branded bags) said "Hello there!" in a sunken tone. I turned around 180 degrees before realising that it was directed at me. So I said "Er, hi." And I thought, maybe you failed your math test too. But I clamped my books under my armpit and held my Nalgene bottle steady for defense. Hey my Nalgene is pink and formidable ok. One knock and the rapist K.O.

I swung a mallet into my kneecap (just last week!) so I think I'm actually pretty good at whacking lumps of meat.

初一

I slammed down on the snooze button FIVE times this morning, happily thinking that they won't book us for being late on Chinese New Year's Eve. Load of tosh! I was late today! Late today! What a way to start the lunar year -.-

A hell lot of other people were late too, but they were all the picture of perfect i've-done-this-a-million-times, and oh-let's-take-our-time, look, the whole world is late! I guess you can pretty much distinguish the first-timers, by their dreadful looks and the way they flap their arms for the bus 200m away. Like me. -pouts-

I was on the bus with Min Ee and her classmate (finally!) when the sun was already nice and bright in the sky. Mr. BFF and JJ were standing beside each other and they both smiled gaily at me when I looked at them worriedly. I returned a very eh, cracked morning-face smile, but it was a very good effort okay! I was yearning to yell OMFG I AM LATE! CHARMAINE IS NEVER LATE! to the entire bus, but thanks to my powerful self-control, I managed not to -.-

So I returned them a gay smile each at school afterwards (: Dreadful, dreadful. It never pays to be late, unless you like slouching and doing the eyeball roll at student councillors while trying to accidentally misspell your name in the late book.

Anyways I found out (only when I reached the classroom) that my stupid water bottle was leaking and all the stuff in my bag was soaked ugggh. But my phone was still functioning, despite the fact that I had to wring the water out of my handphone pouch heh. The performances were boring, I slept through half of them. I only remember being awake for the CLDDS and music videos showcase.

Kay and I went back to our primary school after that! There was nothing much to see cos my chinese teacher quit (haha the one who always makes me stand because I don't do her homework) and nobody else went back! We went to Swensens' after that and ordered two huge executive lunches and one Clam Chowder to share, which was $34 too much for us to finish! We ordered the baked Mac 'N' Cheese and it smelt funny, tasted weird and I ended up having to strain all the milk out of the pasta. Gee and we wasted half the food heh!

We met Jumana and her friend, then Yingci dropped by and we laughed about Thwin Thoo, our Burmese classmate who had a crush on Kay in what, P5 hahaha! I spilled a whole cup of carbonated grape drink on myself and my bag halfway through the meal.

My year is dooooooomed!

To be wet.
